When Is the Best Time
This via ferrata is a great weekend activity. The summer is the best time to climb this ferrata. I would say it is possible to climb it from April till October but it depends on the weather. I recommend climbing it in dry conditions, it is much easier and safer. The iron on the via ferrata is slippery in wet conditions.

Location and Tips
This little via ferrata lies near the town of Bechyne in the south of Bohemia, Czech Republic. It is a challenging and demanding via ferrata with D/E difficulty stamina is essential. It is situated a few feet above the river Luznice. It is not very scenic, but it is fun! There is also a rope bridge above the water. Please bear in mind that this via ferrata is a dead-end ferrata. It means you have to go all the way back to the starting point. However, a bench is installed at the end to soak in the scenery. Take a break before you climb back. It takes approximately 2 hours to climb it, but it depends mainly on your fitness level.
It is difficult to find the ferrata so here is some info: Closest town is Bechyně, the street name Zářečí, parking coordinates 49°17'28.27 / 14°28'14.38, Ferrata coordinates 49°17'13.87 / 14°28'16.19.
