When Is the Best Time
The best light for your perfect shot of the waterfall is after midday. The fall is in shade in the morning. The advantage fewer people visit the falls early n the day and also before closure. The waterfall is open from 9 am until 5 pm.
Weather
The best months for a vacation on St. Lucia are the drier season from December to May. The driest months are from February to May. The rainy season lasts from June to November with the possibility of hurricanes and flash floods. Usually, the wettest month is September.
Crowds
The dry season is also the busiest, especially around Christmas and Eastern. Hotel rates are the highest from mid-December to March. The crowds thin out in April and May except for Eastern Holidays.

Touraille Falls are easily accessible close to Soufriere. It is a quick minute walk from your car or taxi to the waterfall next to the road. The entrance fee is $3 and worth to pay. Changing rooms and facilities are available. The cool freshwater pool is awesome, step under the 12 m/39 feet high waterfall and feel the power of the flow on your head. The falls are one of the most popular spots in St.Lucia. Tour busses pass by after their trip to the volcano and mud bath. From time to time, it is overrun. If you are not in a rush, have a look at the different vendors, enjoy a cold drink, and wait until the busses disappear. I have to confess although you may line up for your bath under the waterfall, it is utterly worth it.
