Location and Tips
This is a short and gorgeous via ferrata opened in 2014. It’s located near the Simplon Pass, close to Village Gabi; one hour drive from Verbania, Lago Maggiore. It starts at an elevation of 1.200 m and finishes at 1.450 m. The via ferrata is 700 m long and last around 2 - 2 1/2 hours including the walk back to the car park. There are a donation box and book where you can leave a comment. This via ferrata was built with much effort to stay safe along the entire climb together with your children. The views are spectacular, and it's great fun worth a donation into the box. Difficulty K 3-4. We did this tour with our 13 years old nephew, and he loved it.
