When Is the Best Time
Neist Point is a very very popular place. During the tourist season it is crowded almost all the time. If you do not want to go in spring/autumn or winter but you want to avoid crowds you have to get up early in the morning. The sunsets are beautiful here so expect a lot of photographers in the evenings. There is a chance to see whales during the summer months.

Location and Tips
The Neist Point Lighthouse is a very popular place. It lies on the most westerly point on the Isle of Skye. It is accessible easily via paved road from Dunvegan. There is a parking place near the lighthouse. There is a path leading to the lighthouse so you can explore the place without any problems. Be careful near the cliffs, though.
The lighthouse was built in 1909. It was operated until 1990; since then, it is automated. The tower is 62 feet high and stands 142 feet above sea level.
